Combining Two Fun Folds is Spectacular

Making a fun fold card is pretty great, but combining two fun folds is spectacular. And that’s exactly what we’ve been doing this month with our Crafty Copycat Creations.

My sister-in-law and I come up with a creative project each month and then together try a variety of twists with it to show the versatility of the project inspiration. We also want to encourage you to use your crafty supplies and try these projects out yourself!

This month I decided it would be fun to combine the popular Bookbinding Fold Card with another Fun Fold to really step up the “wow” factor. My first card was a truly cheerful one. It was a Bookbinding Gate Fold Card. Here is the how-to tutorial video:

For my next project, I added another simple Fun Fold, but one that really “pops”. It looks really dramatic and complicated to create. But it’s really not. Once you know how to do it, it’s quite simple.

This Bookbinding Explosion Card is not only stunning because of the gorgeous Delicate Dreams Papers used on the outside, but the explosion pop on the inside is equally impressive. Plus, you can’t ignore the extremely feminine beauty of the Forever Florals Stamp Set that I used. Here is the how-to video for this card:
