Today’s Mediterranean Blooms Birthday Card is a burst of sunshine. It will most definitely bring a smile to the recipient’s face when they see it.
Do you ever see a paper collection and just know immediately you have to have it? For me, that collection was the captivating Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper (“DSP”) by Stampin’ Up!
From the moment I saw this paper collection, I was drawn to it. It wasn’t just the colors, although the combination of vibrant citrus hues and deep, calming blues is undeniably striking. The elegant damask patterns and the refreshing citrus designs all come together to create a look that is both refreshing and sophisticated. It’s a paper collection that evokes the feeling of a sunny day spent exploring the charming villages and sun-drenched shores of the Mediterranean. It’s just so delightful.
A Closer Look at the Designs
The Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper features a double-sided design, offering you twice the creative potential. Let’s take a closer look at the two sides of this beautiful paper:
- Side 1: This side of the paper is a feast for the eyes, bursting with color and pattern. It features a variety of citrus fruit patterns, including lemons and oranges, in a fabulous hand-painted style. While I ventured out and used a different stamp set, not in this Suite Collection, it still is simply beautiful. I chose to feature a combination of the citrus fruit and damask designs from this paper collection. The bright yellow lemons with the leafy greens create a cheerful and summery feel, while the blue damask background adds a touch of elegance.
My sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy using the Round We Go Stamp Set. I also used the Deckled Rectangle Dies to add some extra visual interest to the center panel.
I finished off my card using the Opal Rounds Assortment which are part of this Suite Collection. Can you see that beautiful shine and sparkle to these lovely embellishments?
