Today I want to share my Thinking of You Parisian Notes card. I couldn’t wait to use this *NEW* Parisian Notes Stamp Set.
As I mentioned in my post last week, CTMH’s Stamptacular Sale features 5 brand new, exclusive sets. And I’m excited to share inspiration with each of these with you over the month. There is so much possibility with each of them.
For today’s card, these are the supplies I used.
- Parisian Notes (CC32316)
- Pewter Cardstock (X5954)
- White Daisy Cardstock (1385)
- Mulberry Cardstock (X6061)
- Black Cardstock (X6047)
- Black LePen (Z4575)
- Clear Sparkles (Z3274)
- Non-stick Micro-tip Scissors (Z1836)
I did a little bit of “stamp surgery” with the sentiment in order to stack it and have it fit in the space I had on the card. Additionally, I stamped a portion of the image on Mulberry Cardstock so that I could then fussy cut out the flowers. It adds a nice pop of color to the card. Finally, I did some sanding around the edging of the card. The technique fits with the antiqued look of the stamped image. And it always works so well with our white core cardstock.
This is the best sale on stamps that Close To My Heart offers. Be sure to take advantage of it and get all your favorites before it’s too late. Whether you have a wish list of stamp sets you’d love to get or not, make sure you check out the 5 exclusive stamp sets before the month ends. Today’s Thinking of You Parisian Notes card is the just the first of my samples with these exclusive sets to share with you.
