Today I wanted to share a birthday card perfect for anyone. Sometimes it can be challenging to create a card that has a little more masculine feel to it. I like that this card has a fairly neutral feel to it. It does have a little sparkle with the Sapphire Glitter Paper as well as the Copper Ore Paper. However, the color choices help ground it so it’s not too girly feeling. By adding in the Black Cardstock and the fun Black Bursts, it really helps balance the shimmer.
I used the On Your Birthday Stamp Set for my card. This is a wonderful set with both sentiments for wishing someone a happy birthday as well as belated birthday wishes.
I also used the In the Details Stamp Set to add a little bit of color to both sentiments. It helped tie in the Lagoon color of the card base by stamping the little ink blot image in Lagoon ink. This is such a fun set with so many little images perfect for cardmaking and scrapbooking.
