For today’s Make It Monday (22nd edition), I’m sharing this beautiful Celebrating You Gatefold Card I made with this month’s Stamp of the Month. It’s part of another Color Challenge. Today I’m challenging you to use the following colors together in a project–Glacier, Nectarine and Candy Apple. You get such a happy, cheerful feeling when you combine these colors together!
For my card, I used the August Stamp of the Month, Floral Celebration, and I love the result! This stamp set is spectacular. I’ve really been loving creating with it this month.
I paired the Floral Celebration Stamp Set with the Big Floral Pattern in the Summer Vibes Paper Pack. Don’t you think the flowers have a similar look? I sure do!
I like that this stamp set has both solid floral images as well as outlines so you can color them in as you desire. It makes it nice and easy to mix the 2 options in your project as I did on the inside of my card.
I added a lot of layering as well as some 3-D Foam Tape to get some additional dimension with my card. Using the Stitched Square Frames Thin Cuts really helped draw the eye to all the beautiful stamped flowers. It’s like little windows into a beautiful flower garden!
Since I plan to use this card for a birthday, I added in the “It’s Your Birthday” sentiment from the Birthday Greetings Stamp Set. This set is definitely a must-have for birthday cards. So many wonderful birthday greetings & sentiments.
