For this week’s Make It Monday (68th edition), I have this gorgeous Hello Friend Butterfly Background Card to share. Our *NEW* July-August Catalog just debuted on Thursday and this fabulous Butterfly Background Thin Cuts is one item you definitely want to check out. I’m positive that this die is going to sell out. It’s truly so stunning. I feel like it lends itself to using our specialty papers. They show so well with the die.
I love all the stitching on this die. Even the outer border has stitching. But the real stand out feature of this die is the pop out butterflies.
I used our beautiful Sapphire Glitter Paper as my background paper. It shines so perfectly through all the openings of the die-cut (which I cut out in White Daisy Cardstock.) If you’ve ever seen our Sapphire Glitter Paper in person, you know it has a really deep accent tone to it. Almost like a black undertone.
Because of that black undertone, I thought it would be perfect to use our Stitched Rectangle Frames Thin Cuts to frame my card. I added in the sentiment using the *NEW* Smiles from the Garden Stamp Set. To keep the colors consistent, I stamped the sentiment in Sapphire ink and then swiped the edges with Black ink.

The final touch I added to my card was to use some Onyx Pearl Liquid Pearls on the pop out butterfly bodies. All in all, it was a super simple card to put together.
