Today’s tip is a bit of a continuation of a tip I’ve posted previously. If you’re looking to take your ordinary supplies such as staples to the next level–beyond the ordinary, look no further than using some StazOn ink with them!
Before placing your staples in your stapler, simply rub the top portion along your choice of StazOn ink to suit your projects color palette. I only did the top as the sides will curl under and won’t be seen (or rather won’t be the focal point of my project). But you could also do the sides as well for a completely finished look to your staples.
Here is the project I created with my colored staples. These will be the little goodies I give to the preschoolers in my kids’ class on Friday. I designed these quick treats (seriously, in total they probably took me maybe 30 minutes to whip up–the longest part was cutting out the little sentiment frame!) using this week’s Color Me Monday colors.
