Today I have a card for National Umbrella Day to share with you. It uses Close To My Heart’s When Skies Are Grey Stamp + Thin Cuts. How perfect for today’s holiday, right?
This set is SO fun. And I can’t believe this is the first time that I’ve played with it! I love all the details and thought that went into this set. You can build images. Add layers to create depth. It’s really well thought out.
The other element that I really love about my card is combining our *NEW* Card Front Shape Stencils with our Irresistibles Cardstock. I’ve loved the Irresistibles Cardstock since it was introduced. But pairing it with the stencils really helped make the glossy pattern pop AND it helped draw your eye to the umbrella, too!
These stencils are like getting 2-for-1 with each set. I was able to use both the outer and inner stencil on my card for today. It was so easy to do. And provided such great results!
