Thanksgiving is almost here (can you believe it!?!) So one of the projects I designed for my Stamp Club this month was a thankful candle…perfect for personalizing as a place card for Thanksgiving dinner with each guest’s name on it!
Supplies:
- flameless tealight (great use of your 40% off coupon at Michael’s/Joann’s/Hobby Lobby!)
- 1-3/4″ scallop circle
- 3/4″-7/8″ x 5″ cardstock strip (width depends on your tealight)
How-to:
Find the center of you scallop circle and make (4) 1/2″ slits going thru that center (doesn’t need to be precise–it’s just to allow the “flame” to go thru). Decorate papers as desired and then glue on with strong adhesive starting with strip then scallop circle (I recommend Liquid Glass.) And that’s it. Pretty simple!
