Close To My Heart released a wildly popular stamp set in their Holiday Expressions Catalog. This stamp set, The Thought That Counts, contains some fun, light-humored sentiments for creating your own holiday tags.
As you can tell from the light blue line outlining the tag image, it perfectly coordinates with CTMH’s Basic Tags Thin Cuts.
These really are fun to play with. You have so many options–different colors of cardstock, different ink colors, even embossing as I’ve done here to tie in the White & Gold Twine.
I started by embossing one of the tag outlines in Gold Embossing Powder, then I used Cranberry and Pear (retired) inks to stamp the various sentiments on the fronts of the tags. I settled on the Cranberry and Pear colors because I had the fun coordinating Glitter Stickers from past Fundamental Packs to help embellish them. On the back sides, I used Toffee ink to stamp the “To and From” sentiment. Toffee seemed like a nice color option to go with the Gold Embossed fronts.
