Today I wanted to quickly share an adorable Shaker Card I received from Elizabeth Hawley. How cute is this shaker made with real birdseed? I think sometimes we get so focused on what we “should” fill our Shaker Cards with (i.e. beads, sequins, etc.) that we miss these fun opportunities!
I received this AMAZING Halloween Card from Robin Charvet. It’s simply too awesome to not share! I love the splatter affect she achieved using our Shimmer Brush in the Color of the Year–Julep. It’s a technique I need to incorporate into an upcoming project for sure! And aren’t those Julep Sequins so beautiful?! They are definitely my favorite sequins collection to date.

The September Stamp of the Month, Random Act of Cardness, might be my all time favorite Stamp of the Month (okay, maybe not out of all the years but definitely of the more recent ones!) I love the sentiments. I love the fonts. I love that it includes little icons. I love that all the sentiments are so useful.

As a stamper, many times it can be confusing as to which particular black ink pad we should be using for which project. Yesterday, on Close To My Heart’s Blog, they did a wonderful post comparing the different Black Ink Pads and when it’s best to use which one of them. It was a great comparison and one I think all of us could benefit from. Plus, there are great project examples for each!
