If the news of Close To My Heart hosting an all-day event for National Scrapbooking Day was exciting for you, you’re going to be ecstatic for this next piece of news. CTMH is going to host a 2-day (yep, 2 days!) virtual scrapbooking retreat where you’ll complete an entire album on May 15 & 16 all as part of their celebration of National Scrapbooking Month!
Two days ago I shared Close To My Heart’s announcement that they were going to host an all-day FREE Virtual Craft Day to celebrate National Scrapbooking Day. Since 1994, National Scrapbooking Day has always been the first Saturday in May–making it May 2nd this year. For many, going to a traditional all-day crop or other crafting event is out of the question. From basic social distancing to Shelter-in-Place Orders this just isn’t possible.
Life can change quickly, as evidenced by the events of the last couple of weeks! Moments like this, where routines are disrupted and the pace of life changes, tend to bring life into greater focus and help us see the things that are truly important.
