Today is World Kindness Day. I thought this sentiment from the Eat Play Love Stamp Set was perfect for this particular day. So I whipped up this adorable framed artwork piece using the stamp set and coordinating Best Friends Furever Paper Pack.
Happy Halloween! Today there are no tricks, just treats for you! I’m going to show you how you can create these cute (and easy) Tall Treat Pouches. While my sample today is Halloween themed, I can easily see this project duplicated for Christmas and filled with candy canes or other tall treats for the holiday. Grab your favorite patterned paper, your Paper Trimmer, some strong double-sided adhesive and a Bone Folder and let’s get started.
I received this AMAZING Halloween Card from Robin Charvet. It’s simply too awesome to not share! I love the splatter affect she achieved using our Shimmer Brush in the Color of the Year–Julep. It’s a technique I need to incorporate into an upcoming project for sure! And aren’t those Julep Sequins so beautiful?! They are definitely my favorite sequins collection to date.
We’re quickly approaching Halloween. Halloween stores have popped up. Decorations are in the stores. And then this weekend I already saw people decorating their yards! Guess it’s time to get those Halloween cards and projects ready!
September is National Stamping Month. To celebrate, Close To My Heart did a wonderful post on their Make It From Your Heart Blog showcasing some stamping basics–perfect for the beginner stamper and a great refresher for the seasoned stamper. So you don’t miss out on all this great knowledge I’m sharing it with you today.
Today’s project is one that we created at my Technique Time Class last month with the September Stamp of the Month–Just Treats. I love this stamp set. And even though you can no longer order it, I figured I’d still share this project as it’s a fun one (and many of you probably own the set!) This project is one I’ve made for years–in different sizes and different styles–always with great results!
Today’s card is one I received from one of my Close To My Heart team members, Deb Mandac. It’s a wonderful example of a simple yet stunning Gate Fold Card.
This weekend was my son’s birthday and he is a HUGE Snoopy fan. So of course I wanted to try and do some sort of Snoopy birthday card for him. I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out and figured I’d share the card base for anyone else who might have a Snoopy fan in their life.
New month = *NEW* Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month! And the September Stamp of the Month, Just Treats, is definitely a MUST-HAVE 🙂 Check out all the great sentiments and images you can use for the everyday as well as the upcoming holidays and seasons.
Today’s card is a spectacular one! I received it from my friend Cindy Herman (she does beautiful work and this card is no exception!) At first glance there are several striking elements to this card-the use of acetate, stamping on glitter paper, stamping on vellum…
